The business of providing food, drink and accommodation falls to a wide range of organisations. The hospitality industry is made up of skill sectors: for example: visitor information, tourism, entertainment and recreation, events and meetings, food, beverage and accommodation. The industry in the UK is complex and varied, with a wide range of business types and models. It includes many small businesses, geographically spread, with variable products and client groups.
